Flood water claim thousands of lives and render millions homeless every year. One of the more unique features of flooding is that it can occur nearly anywhere at any time. Many a times, new areas which are not traditionally flood prone also experience severe inundation.
What is Flood?
The term Flood is a general or temporary condition of partial/complete inundation of normally dry areas from overflow of inland or tidal waters or unusual and rapid accumulation or run off of surface waters from any source.
